French Theatre Production returns to St. Mary’s!
The French Department at St. Mary’s CBGS are pleased to announce a French theatre production for year nine, ten and eleven students of French. The French Theatre for Schools Company will be performing a French play called « Le Rôle » in school on Thursday 11th February 2010. Following on from a highly successful performance last year, this production will encourage French language-learning through drama and song in a fun, lively and interactive manner. The play will be performed by French-native professional actors and it will offer students an opportunity to communicate with real French people. The emphasis is on “learning by doing” and with much audience participation, pupils should gain confidence in their use of spoken French. There will even be an opportunity for a number of pupils to use their acting skills by appearing on stage in a supporting role!
