PROPOSED INDOOR 3G FACILITY

• St Mary’s has an ambitious vision for its future as an educational campus in West Belfast. An innovative and integral part of that long-term vision is a large-scale capital development plan, including the creation of 3G Indoor Sports Arena.

• The indoor training pitch will be a floodlit, third generation facility that will facilitate a diverse range of sports. Four new changing rooms and a minor hall will be situated within the new complex. 

• Envisaged £1.6million development in the heart of West Belfast. The facility will allow dawn to dusk usage though a school community partnership.

• The development of this facility and the delivery of sporting and physical activities at the site will address the needs of the school and local community. 

• Over the next 2-3 months, we will be consulting with a range of statutory, voluntary and community sector organisations to identify sporting and community needs and to generate support for the project.

• The school has a long history of community usage we hope this facility and future developments will go a long way in cementing and building new relationships with the local community in West Belfast.

• We will be hosting a public information session on Wednesday 11^th March 2009 4-6pm at the school.
