Marie Curie Cancer Care Swimathon

 Congratulations to the St. Mary’s Water Polo teams who successful raised £500 for Marie Curie Cancer Care by swimming over 700 lengths in the school pool. The pupils involved in St. Mary’s Swimathon joined 20,000 other swimmers around Britain and Ireland that took part in the Marie Curie challenge. Every £20 raised by the pupils pays for one hour of nursing care at a patient’s home and the boys can be very proud of their contribution. Thanks to all the staff and pupils that gave up their time and donated to this worthy cause.
